Our production operations are state of the art, with high in-house production depth. They are located at the company headquarters in Graben-Neudorf in the state of Baden-Wuerttemberg.
Our Milestones
Foundation
1945
- Hartmann & König KG is founded in Graben by Karl Hartmann and Max König.
- The company originally manufactures products for other industries, such as filter systems and water pumps.
SPECIALIZATION
1954
- Foundation of Hartmann & König Maschinenbau OHG.
- The company is a specialist manufacturer of cable reels, slip ring assemblies and accessories.
NEW PRODUCTION LOCATION
1958
- The company relocates to a new production facility in Graben to expand its production capacity and product range.
THE SECOND GENERATION
1980
- The second generation of the Herberger and Groß families continue the company as Hartmann & König Maschinenbau GmbH & Co. KG.
NEW PREMISES
1999

Hartmann & König builds modern administration and production premises, over 4,200 sqm in area, in the Neudorf district to reflect its growing requirements.
THE THIRD GENERATION
2015
- The long-established company remains a family enterprise after the deaths of Ursula and Hubert Herberger.
- Their daughters, Sabine Gamer and Silke Rom, become the third generation to helm Hartmann & König Stromzuführungs AG into a successful future.
NEW FACILITY
2016
- Two new halls are built for the production facility, extending its area by around 3,000 sqm.
- The company can now expand its series production operations further and begin production of bespoke large-diameter cable reels.
